This policy explains what information JunkyDrawers collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What you give us
- Account details: your name and email address when you create an account.
- Photos: any photo you take or upload of a storage space, and any screenshot you send with a support message.
- Inventory content: the spaces, items, quantities, notes and cleanup progress you record in the app.
- Household details: the invite code used to share an inventory with the people you live with.
- Messages: whatever you write to us through the contact form inside or outside the app.
How we use it
- To run the app: reading your photos to produce an item list, keeping your inventory searchable and generating cleanup plans.
- To keep your data with your account, and to sync it between the devices you sign in on.
- To confirm your purchase and unlock the app for the account that paid.
- To reply to you when you contact us, and to investigate problems you report.
- To keep the service safe, including screening photos and messages that are submitted and blocking abusive use.
Your photos and inventory
Photos you upload are stored privately. They are not published, not shown to other customers, and not used in advertising.
Your inventory is visible to your account and to any household you deliberately join. Nobody else can browse it.
Payments
Purchases are processed by our payment provider on their own secure checkout page. Card numbers never pass through this website and are not stored in the app's database.
We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with basic receipt details, so the app can be unlocked for your account and so billing questions can be answered.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles from your data.
- With the household you choose to join, so you can share one inventory.
- With service providers who host the app, process payments and deliver email on our behalf.
- Where required by law, or to protect the service and its users from abuse.
Cookies and local storage
The app uses storage that is necessary to keep you signed in and to remember simple preferences on your device. It does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your scans and inventory stay while your account exists so that the app keeps working. You can delete individual scans inside the app at any time.
To delete your account and the data attached to it, contact us with the email address you signed up with and we will remove it.
Children
JunkyDrawers is not intended for children under 13, and accounts should not be created for them.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including keeping uploads in private storage and limiting access to your records to your account. No online service can promise perfect security.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated policy.
